History: Formed in 1934, the club moved through the East Riding and Yorkshire leagues after World War II. The Villagers then joined the North Counties East League in 1982 - enjoyed an FA Vase final at Wembley in 1997 - before being able to move to a higher level in 2000. They also won the East Riding Cup a record-breaking six times in a row in this period. The high points have been in recent seasons - winning the FA Trophy at Wembley in 2015, defeating Wrexham on penalites. In 2015/16, they won the Conference North play-offs, although only survived one season before relegation.

Distance from Darlington 101 miles (1hr 45 mins) From the North: It is suggested you head on the A1. Follow the eastbound M62 until it becomes the A63 about 12 miles from Hull. Keep heading on towards Hull. Look out for the turn off for Ferriby and turn left. Follow this road past the Duke of Cumberland pub. There is a crossroads, turn right here down Church Road. Look out for the sign for the ground past the church.
Parking: There is parking on Grange Lane's playing field car park. There is also room in nearby streets, with consideration for local residents. Some spaces may be available at the primary school on Church Road (£2 charge).

The ground is to the north east of Ferriby railway station. Follow the first road on the right, you will then come out on Church Road and Grange Lane is only a couple of hundred yards to your right.
The official site is pretty good.
The village is eight miles west of Hull, close to the Humber Bridge and on the estuary. It has a population of less than 4,000.
