FC United of Manchester v Darlington

Saturday 13th October 2018, 3pm
Vanarama Conference North

FC United of Manchester:
Broadhurst Park, 310 Lightbowne Rd, Moston Manchester M40 0FJ
Tel: 0161 769 2005 Twitter: @FCUnitedMcr

History: FC United is a fans' club, created out of the disillusionment with foreign ownership and top flight football losing touch with its supporters. Few in football thought the decision by a group of Manchester United fans in 2005 to start their own club was more than a short-lived gesture. But a decade on, with the club in the Conference North, with a new £6m stadium and community facility and healthy support (an average of just under 3,000), no-one could doubt it has grown from its strong roots in the local community. Darlo fans will be familiar with the story of rising up through the pyramid.
